Application of cyber physical system on transformer constant voltage modulation control

Abstract

Generally, for the limited regulating gear restricts the existing transformer voltage regulation method, and the criterion of voltage regulation is the voltage curve determined by dispatching department, it is difficult to achieve a flexible, efficient, and high precision constant voltage modulation. To better solve the problem of transformer output voltage deviation, this paper proposed a method to dynamically adjust the voltage quality based on cyber physical system. Firstly, it respectively established transformer physical model and information model with MATLAB simulink and enterprise architect(EA). Then according to the mutual mapping between physical parameters and information attributes, with the help of an intermediary platform: Visual Studio, it used the dynamic link library to integrate the physical model and information model on a unified simulation platform. Therefor at last it established the transformer cyber physical system model on the MATLAB platform. Through information real-time feedback mechanism on quantities, it could control the automatic adjustment of inductor winding ratio, and stabilized the transformer output voltage. The simulation results show the effectiveness of cyber physical system on transformer voltage control.
