Abstract

This paper studied the Mixed-model assembly flexible job-shop scheduling problem with lot streaming, considering the close interactions among production, transportation, inventory, and assembly. The objective is to minimize makespan and total cost, and it proposed a bi-level interactive multi-objective hybrid algorithm: The multi-objective particle swarm optimization combines with the fruit fly cooperation search optimization algorithm (FCSOA) , the outer layer determined the optimal batching strategy, while the inner layer computed the optimal scheduling plan under the strategy and converted it into fitness values to feed back to the outer layer, thereby enhancing solution performance. The FCSOA improves the traditional fruit fly optimization algorithm by incorporating the collaborative search process, it adopts the improved precedence operation crossover and multi-point preservative crossover to optimize job sequencing and machine allocation, respectively. Finally, it generated 10 test instances based on real production data from a medical device enterprise for extensive experimentation. The comparison with multiple existing algorithms showed that the FCSOA achieved faster convergence speed and more evenly distributed Pareto front solutions. This research provides a new effective solution to solve the Mixed-model assembly flexible job-shop scheduling problem with lot streaming, offering high practical value.
