Abstract

The aim of this paper was to address the physical layer security issue of task offloading in UAV MEC systems. In this system, multiple ground users offloaded computing tasks to a UAV equipped with an MEC server, while a ground eavesdropper attempted to intercept task information offloaded by the users to the UAV. To ensure the reliability and low latency of task offloading, offload communication used URLLC technology. This paper aimed to maximize the minimum security computation quantity of the users by jointly optimizing the deployment location of the UAV, the offloading bandwidth of the users, and the CPU frequency of the UAV computation and the local computation of the users. To address this problem, this paper first employed the block coordinate descent method to decompose the problem into two subproblems: one focused on optimizing the position and computing latency of the UAV, while the other aimed to optimize the CPU frequency of both the UAV and the users, as well as the user's offloading bandwidth. Then, this paper utilized the logarithmic function approximation method to simplify the rate expression of the offloading bandwidth, and applied the continuous convex approximation method to transform the non-convex subproblems into solvable convex optimization problems. Finally, the two subproblems were alternately solved until the objective function converged. Simulation results show that compared to existing benchmark schemes, the proposed algorithm effectively enhances the system's secure computation capacity. This demonstrates the necessity of the proposed algorithm, providing a solution for achieving a balance between secure communication and computation.
