Adaptive deadlock control strategy for multi-type unreliable resource AMSs based on S4PR

Abstract

Due to the deadlocks generated by AMSs causing serious economic losses to manufacturing enterprises, this paper proposes a more precise and effective deadlock control strategy to solve the deadlock problem. This strategy first investigates the impact of multiple types of unreliable resources on deadlocks, extends S4PR network modeling, and proposes a new network structure to characterize deadlocks: resource strict minimum siphon, improves MIP method to calculate resource strict minimum siphon, and adds recovery subnets to ensure the activity of AMSs; Secondly, consider the issue of resource failures, design controllers and supervisors to ensure system robustness, add observers to achieve adaptive deadlock control; Finally, simulation experiments were conducted to verify that this strategy allows for more reachable markings and obtains polynomial complexity, and its effectiveness and superiority were compared and analyzed. This strategy studies complex deadlocks and fault situations, providing robust control for manufacturing processes with high production requirements, and achieving efficiency and intelligence in actual production.
