Interference coordination algorithm for cognitive heterogeneous networks resource allocation based on game theory

Abstract

Cognitive heterogeneous network based on underlay spectrum sharing mode can effectively alleviate the shortage of spectrum resources, but at the same time, it will aggravate the interference in the network. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a dynamic spectrum allocation and power control algorithm based on non-cooperative game model for interference coordination. Firstly, this paper considered the interference problems arising from spectrum sharing, introduced cognitive user priority level, and constructed the problem as a spectrum pricing game model of joint dynamic spectrum allocation and power control. Secondly, through a two-stage dynamic game, it obtained the Nash equilibrium solution to achieve rational allocation of spectrum resources and transmission power control at the cognitive network layer. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can realize the rational allocation of spectrum resources of different priority users and the control of transmission power of cognitive femtocell base stations, and effectively suppress cross-layer interference and intra-layer interference of cognitive heterogeneous networks.
