Verification algorithm of effective change region of attack-defense model based on game-strategies

Abstract

Change mining can find the possible change space in the model through the change log. However, in the scenario of information security attack-defense situation, the results of the existing change mining algorithms may not meet the security requirements, or even deviate greatly from the security standards. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a change region verification method based on game strategy, which solved the defect that the traditional change mining algorithm could not verify its effectiveness. Firstly, the algorithm constructed the benefit matrix according to the security index to calculate the Nash equilibrium point. Secondly, it verified the effectiveness of the change region of the attack-defense model through the Nash equilibrium point. And then the algorithm classified the invalid and sub effective change regions, and gave clear guidance on the response to unknown vulnerabilities. Finally, it took a typical information security event as an example to verify the feasibility of this method.
