Abstract

For ultra-reliable low latency communication of industrial 5G network, this paper studied multi-hop and multi-relay-assisted device-to-device communication scheme. Based on the stochastic geometry theory, this paper used the Poisson point process to model the devices in the industrial field and divided the relay selection area. During multi-hop transmission, the relay of each hop selected node with the largest signal to interference plus noise ratio for decoding and forwarding. Fully considering the node interference and random noise on the multiple D2D transmission paths, this paper derived the closed form expression of the end-to-end outage probability. Simulations demonstrated the influence of relay node deployment density, transmit power, path distance on the end-to-end outage probability. The results show that the use of multi-hop and multi-relay-assisted D2D transmission can greatly reduce the end-to-end outage probability of industrial 5G networks and improve transmission reliability.
