Abstract

Multi-modal medical image segmentation is one of the research hotspots in the field of medical image analysis. Effectively using the complementary information of different modal images to provide more information about the focus area and its surrounding area from multiple levels can improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis. In order to analyze the research status and development direction of deep learning in the field of multi-modal medical image segmentation, this paper sorted and studied the segmentation methods in this field in recent years. Based on the analysis of their characteristics and existing problems, this paper prospected the future research direction, which could help relevant researchers comprehensively and quickly understand the research status, existing problems and future research direction in this field.
