Trusted data management schema for semi-centralized digital banking system

Abstract

Given the fact that the centralized data storage schema of traditional banking system is efficient but non-transpa-rent, while the emerging decentralized data management system is transparent but inefficient in the consensus mechanism, this paper proposed a new trusted data management schema with a cross binary-chain for general ledger and subsidiary ledger in a semi-centralized architecture. The core idea of the new schema was to build a cross-chain for the transaction data with the blockchain technology, so as to realize centralized trusted storage and management of data by combining the ledger backtrac-king location technology and the distributed supervision of a large number of clients based on cryptography technology. Combining the centralized data storage mode and decentralized data validation method, it is both efficient and transparent. Essentially, the cross binary-chain schema is a centralized approach based on distributed democratic supervision, which achieves the balance between privacy and supervision and satisfies the need for banks to independently and completely control over the transaction data.
