Abstract

Probabilistic linguistic term set can give different degrees of preference by assigning corresponding probabilities through linguistic set. This paper used probabilistic linguistic term set to obtain the hesitant and uncertain evaluation information of the experts. Aiming at the problem that the weights of indicators in traditional multi-criteria decision-making method did not consider the mutual influence relationships between indicators, it used probabilistic linguistic to analysis the net influence of the indexes and used 2-tuple linguistic to convert the PLTS's score of the mutual influence relationships between indicators into precise values, then it obtained the weight of the indexes. Considering the different preferences and psychological behaviors of the decision makers, it used the improved TODIM method of PLTS to evaluate candidate schemes. Finally, a case study of the liner companies' comprehensive competitiveness ranking shows that this method can illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
