Multiple attribute decision making method and application based on interval rough numbers

Abstract

In view of the problem that the complexity and fuzziness of a large number of indexes in traditional multiple attribute decision making model lead to inaccurate decision making results, this paper proposed an improved DEMATEL-VIKOR multiple attribute optimization decision making model based on interval rough numbers. Firstly, it improved the traditional DEMATEL and VIKOR method on the basis of interval rough numbers respectively. Secondly, it used a new normalized weighted geometric Bonferroni mean operator to improve the DEMATEL-VIKOR mixed mode and it calculated the feasible compromise solution by analyzing the influencing factors of each criterion according to the quantitative results. Finally, it ranked the alternatives from three angles: sensitivity analysis, theories analysis and method comparison, so as to obtain the optimal alternatives. An example of comprehensive evaluation of urban waterfront landscape shows that the improved algorithm is more feasible and effective in decision making under uncertain and incomplete information environment.
