Abstract

Cloud storage is favored by users for its high scalability, high reliability, and low cost data management. However, how to ensure cloud data integrity has become an important security challenge that needs to be solved immediately. Most of the current cloud storage integrity auditing schemes are based on semi-trusted third party to provide public integrity auditing ser-vices, which exists some problems such as single point failure, performance bottlenecks, and leakage of user privacy. Due to these weaknesses, this paper proposed an audit model based on blockchain. The model used distributed network and consensus algorithm to establish a decentralized and easy-to-expand network to solve single-point failure problems and computational power bottlenecks. It used blockchain technology and consensus algorithm to encrypt user data to ensure data couldn't be tampered and forged, ensuring users data privacy. The experimental results show that compared with the semi-trusted third-party cloud data auditing scheme, the proposed model can protect user privacy, significantly improve auditing efficiency and reduce communication cost.
