Research on application of improved WFQ algorithm in train network scheduling

Abstract

With the rapid development of rail transit in China, the TCN-based train network can no longer meet the needs of train data transmission services. The TCSN emerges as the times require. This paper studied a train service communication network based on the integrated service model for the train data transmission business, and established the traffic flow model for the four trains. It analyzed the weighted fairness queue scheduling(WFQ) algorithm for network grouping and designed service classification and bandwidth allocation based on WFQ scheduling(SCBAWFQ) algorithm. And it used simulation software to simulate and analyze the time delays of constant data stream and burst data stream under WFQ and SCBAWFQ respectively. The simulation results prove that the improved algorithm can reduce the latency of real-time service stream. It has a good effect, so that the SCBAWFQ algorithm realizes the need to maintain both the fairness of the WFQ algorithm and the quali-ty of service for real-time services.
